2004 AFA Survey Reveals Residential Faculty Teaching Experience

In Fall 2004, AFA surveyed 200 MCCCD residential faculty hired in the last three years to determine how much teaching experience they had at the time of their full-time hiring by the District. Sixty-one faculty members responded to the survey, which revealed that, when they were hired, they had accumulated an average of 3.7 years of full-time teaching experience and 5.9 years of part-time teaching experience.
